**State Superintendent Tours Oxford’s CREATE Center** Alabama State Superintendent Dr. Eric Mackey toured the newly opened CREATE Center in Oxford on Wednesday, exploring its workforce development opportunities for students. During the visit, high school students showcased skills in modern manufacturing and computer science, while Oxford High School students prepared lunch and elementary students demonstrated a paper airplane assembly line. “We are proud of the remarkable work at the CREATE Center,” said Superintendent Dr. Shannon Stanley. Mackey noted the significance of collaboration in providing meaningful career opportunities. Currently serving only Oxford High School students, the center plans to expand to other schools in the future.
