It is with a very heavy heart that we announce the passing of James E. Cranford (Jim Morgan). He was SO loved by us, and by many people in our community. He was an integral part of WCKA, and his love for broadcasting shined in his work and with the people he met. A man filled with nothing but love. His faith was incredibly strong, and he loved to share the word of God every chance he got. Jim was a talented broadcaster, and an amazing mentor to those around him. His smile was contagious, and he knew how to make even a stranger feel like family! Our sincerest condolences go out to his family during this time of grief.
No arrangements have been made at this time.
“Jim was a special person to a lot of people, but he held a very special place in my heart. He nurtured my love for broadcasting, pushed me to try new things, and was always in my corner. He was a tough teacher sometimes, we’d disagree, but we always found a way to work it out. I’m thankful that that he pushed me, because he made ME better. Jim was a wonderful co-worker, but he was an even better friend.” ~Lauren
